FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
High Desert Rifle Works Announces Merger with Ten Second Precision
As 2025 draws to a close, High Desert Rifle Works is proud to announce a strategic merger with Ten Second Precision, formally uniting two companies that have collaborated closely for years in pursuit of uncompromising performance and reliability.
Founded in 2014, High Desert Rifle Works was built on a simple but uncompromising mission: to provide the highest-quality gear possible for serious shooters and professionals. That mission now aligns seamlessly with Ten Second Precision’s philosophy of building zero-fail systems for those in the arena—Hunters, Anglers, Outdoorsmen, and Soldiers whose missions cannot fail.
Together, the companies share a commitment to first-principles design, radical simplicity, and intuitive function. Every product is stripped to what matters, tested relentlessly, and refined until only what can be trusted remains—because when everything is on the line, ten seconds feels like a lifetime.
The merger brings together founders Thomas Gomez and Aaron Martin, whose long-standing partnership and shared vision have driven successful joint projects across product development, training, and emerging technologies. By officially joining forces, the newly aligned organization is positioned to expand its work within the Defense Industry, advanced training programs, and next-generation technology initiatives.
“This merger is a natural evolution of a partnership that has been years in the making,” said Gomez. “We are grateful to the loyal customers who have supported High Desert Rifle Works for more than a decade. Their trust has allowed us to grow, innovate, and now take this next step.”
Customers can expect the same commitment to quality, performance, and service that has defined High Desert Rifle Works since its founding—now strengthened by expanded capabilities, deeper integration, and a unified vision focused on reliability when it matters most.
As part of this transition, High Desert Rifle Works will adopt updated branding and logos that reflect the company’s unified future. We understand the oak leaf carries deep meaning for many longtime supporters, and that legacy will not be forgotten—those who wish to carry it forward can continue to do so through the custom shop with a bottom metal featuring the original oak leaf logo. Just as importantly, how we do business will not change: direct communication remains a cornerstone for Ten Second Precision, and customers will always be able to pick up the phone or send a text and speak directly with the owners, just as they always have.
Please note that the website will be down for a few days as we transition to the new company. We are working on current orders and will ship them as soon as possible.
